Day 12: Last #wurstadventure stop, Munich

After a wonderful time in Coburg we started on our last part of the journey here in Germany, the train ride from Coburg to Munich.

The first part of the ride was with a local train, but getting on the DB Bahn ICE we just took off! Traveling in over 290 km/h brought us from Nuremberg to Munich in just over an hour!

In Munich we had some free time before we met with our guide for a city walk.

She showed us some of the monuments and sights and also the Viktualienmarkt, a big food market i the middle of the city.

We also stopped by a couple of beer halls, the biggest one in Munich which is Hofbrauhaus and a smaller one called Der Pschorr, a beer hall storing and serving their beer from wooden barrels.

In the evening our guide took us to the Ratskeller, a large traditional restaurant located in the cellar of the city hall. For dinner we shared a big sausage platter with six different types of wurst, and of course the traditional side dishes, like sauerkraut, fries, pretzels and mustard amongst other things. We tasted Wollwurst, Lamb Bratwurst, Schnapsbratwurst, Bratwurst made of chicken, Jumbo Knackbratwurst and Vealbratwurst. Completing the dinner, we reached 52 different wursts tasted during the trip!

Tomorrow is our last day here in Germany, and we are going for one last wurst taste in the morning, the famous Weisswurst! Follow us in all major social media channels using the hashtag #wurstadventure
